Even More online bingo name confusion

My previous article highlighted the myriad of confusing and similar names that are around in the UK online bingo market. The Bingo Directory at WhichBingo lists more than 350 of them. And in that 350 there is lots of confusion……. BingoSky – Sky Bingo, Fabulous Bingo – Bingo Fabulous ….etc., etc. But the ones listed in my previous article are not the only culprits in the bingo name game.

Pink Bingo is a site on the well known GlobalCom network. Unsurprisingly pink is the main colour in the site design, that also features a pink Flamingo (what flamingos have to do with bingo I don’t know but that’s not the point….) However, to confuse us all, also on the GlobalCom network alongside Pink Bingo is Pink Ribbon Bingo. Pink Ribbon Bingo offers exactly the same games as Pink Bingo but it does have the redeeming feature of donating money to breast cancer charities.

One of the biggest bingo sites on the Internet is the well known and highly regarding JackpotJoy Bingo. However, we often hear people referring to it as Jackpot Bingo. Now this on it’s own is probably a mind irritant to the people at JackpotJoy, but the fact that there actually is an online bingo site called Jackpot Bingo probably makes the confusion more annoying. Looking at the smartly designed Jackpot Bingo one can see that they offer a very generous 200% first deposit bonus, which is more than JackpotJoy, so maybe, for players, the confusion is a good thing.

There is a well known saying that goes something like ‘all that glitters is not gold’. Perhaps we need to re-word that for the online bingo market. If you are looking for gold whilst playing online bingo you may wish to visit GoldenHat Bingo or Golden Pound Bingo, or Goldfish Bingo or Gold Meddle Bingo or even GoldenGame Bingo.

Finally there is some good news on bingo confusion stakes. Bingo Castle a relative newcomer to the UK online bingo market recently closed its doors as it found it increasingly difficult to compete with online bingo offering from the long-established land based bingo group, Castle Bingo.
